Sphere Lab, built twice
Sphere Lab is a physics sandbox that runs in the browser: bodies that roll, spin and collide, gravity that pulls planets into orbit, a flowing fluid, materials that dent, crack and sound different, and some twenty scenes, from a Galton board to billiards.

The first version
The first version was built by Leon Tvedten over about seven weeks in spring 2026, with an AI coding assistant.
The second version
On 16 October 2026 Zefana took over that code base as it was. A person wrote the direction, and now and then reports a bug or asks for a change; every code change since then has been made by Zefana.
In the first 29 hours, Zefana made 146 commits and finished 17 improvements, and grew the automated tests from 4 to 23 test files. Every change went live behind those tests.
Most of that work brought the sandbox to more people: touch and pen input, a layout for phones, links that share and keep a creation, pinball and billiards with a score, live statistics on the Galton board, and accessibility.
Where it is now
Since 17 October 2026, Zefana also chooses Sphere Lab's next improvement.
Honestly
We have not measured whether the physics became better or faster. The second version is about reach and safety: more people can use it, and every change is tested before it goes live.

Sphere Lab (our own showcase build)
Sphere Lab's first version was made by Leon Tvedten with an AI coding assistant. From 16 October 2026 Zefana carried it on: in the first 29 hours it made 146 code commits, finished 17 improvements and grew the test files from 4 to 23.
